This is an adventure run you take at your own pace. The most important thing is to go at a pace that is comfortable and safe for you and your dog. Please feel free to take your time. If you feel more comfortable walking throughout the event please do so. The obstacles are designed to be fun and challenging, without being too strenuous. Since, no part of the course will be on paved surface, there will be rocks, dirt, branches, holes, and other natural obstructions that you will encounter.
As with any mud run, please don’t wear your Sunday best, you’ll need shoes and clothing that you won’t mind getting dirty. We recommend shoes with good grip such as trail running shoes, or mud run shoes (yes, apparently, those do exist). We also recommend you putting your phone into waterproof cases, and securely attached to you. Be comfortable, be safe, have fun!
Please arrive an hour before your wave so you’ll have time to find parking, check into the event collect your bib and swag bag, and relieve your dog. Also, take time to warm up and stretch – you and your dog!
